    Crystal Reports select statement

I don't think so - that would be dependant on your applications' rules. YOur friend may just have crystal viewer and is seeing the end result of a query - but seeing the select is up to the software and his rights regarding it. Thanks!

processing heirachy/subreport in Crystal Reports 11

Solution: Create a container report - create 2 detail sections - insert subreports one these and run the container with no links. Thanks!

processing heirachy/subreport in Crystal Reports 11

Basically - I have 2 distinct detail sections and I want details a to fully complete before details b starts. DA is the 'Table of Contents' for the user and DB is the detail listing of those. The two reports are working correctly in standalone mode. I'm glad to use another other sections or...

processing heirachy/subreport in Crystal Reports 11

I have a report that creates detail lines (items). That report must display all lines at the beginning of a report (any section). That part is working. I have to execute that and after it runs provide detail for each item in a second step. But no matter what I try I keep getting item then...

    bypassing records conditionally

I have 2 reports. One that creates a listing of records. I want to link with these records to another report that provides detail (but not on-demand - in one program run). I want all the main report listing to complete first and then the subreport for each item to complete. How do I force...

    bypassing records conditionally

Thank you both for your assistance. pmax9999's example worked. I have multiple files to do this on so I'm not so sure about the grouping per multiple files but surely if need be I can create several subreports. Thanks!

    bypassing records conditionally

Thanks - let me give that a try now - Thanks!

    bypassing records conditionally

Juvenile will always be either 1 or NULL. There are multiple records per incident. If any incident record has a juvenile flag the entire incident has to be bypassed. Thanks!

    bypassing records conditionally

First - thanks for the reply - This does not quite work but I feel I'm on the right track. I need to check all records by incident and if any one of them is juvenile = 1 then omit all records for that incident. But if none of them are juvenile then print. Your code printed the second record...

    bypassing records conditionally

I'm using Crystal Reports 11.5 Thanks!

    bypassing records conditionally

In my table below, I have multiple records that share an incident number (201311476). I need to check the JUVENILE flag and if it is 1 (like the first record) I need to bypass this incident record entirely. That may seem simple but when the bigwigs want it NOW it gets harder - way harder...

The Office version is the same (2003). The Access version is the same (2003). The operating system is diferent (07 / XP). Thanks!

    Access 07 / Office 12

I may have to figure out how to do that but I am convinced it is something that can be resolved in the install process. I say this because I have another dept. that has the same blend of machines and works fine. The code is the same. My problem has to do with the Office is deployed I believe...

    Access 07 / Office 12

Hi - When I unchecked the 'MISSING MS Excel 12.0 Object Library' on the XP machines usrs that were on Windows 7 machines could not open Access. They share one .mdb. Thanks!

    Access 07 / Office 12

Hello, Our desktop staff inserted Windows 7 machines into a formerly XP-only dept. Now the users remaining on XP machines cannot open Access 2003. An error is returned 'can't find project or library'. The Windows 7 users are fine - just the XP uses in the dept. I see 'MISSING MS Excel 12.0...

MS Access Login does not respond -

Sorry - this is not a dbl post - I was not a member of this forum when I posted it and I want to make sure it gets to the right place. I really hope this is it! I have a group of users that are using MS Access 2003 on XP machines and their login credentials suddenly do not work and the form...

MS Access suddenly not accepting login -

I have a group of users that are using MS Access 2003 on XP machines and their login credentials suddenly do not work and the form does not respond at all. The only thing that has happened since the problem since the last time the did work was a Windows 7/Access 2007 machine was introduced to...

Dumb but maybe not-so-dumb formatting question -

Ok - when you bring a field of data from a table into CR it sits in it's 'box' differently from one field to another causing the rightmost chars to not line up. The 'boxes' are aligned on the rights but the data sits differently horizontally in the 'box'. I have to grab the right side of the...
