When I restart the printerspooler in Win2000 Adv. srv cluster admin, the cluster fails and I have to switch node.
Does anyone have the same problem?
I have Sp3 on the servers in the cluster.
I got this error message then I try to do this:
"Invalid file header signature"
"Invalid file trailer signature"
Then I scan the tapes (running a raidset)arcserve doesent find any session.
But then I force arcserve to skip session (a regedit hack)it finds data on tape but...
I have search in entire "tree" but the objekt dosent exist.
I have no filters in mmc and I can't find any corruption then I run ntdsutil.

I have users that I can't see in active directory but then I try to create a user, the active directory tells me that the user already exist. The user account is a ordinary name like "bill".
When I do a search for the user objekt the result is blank.
Does anyony have the same...
Arcserve for Netware seems to work better. That is my experience. When we have Netware servers it almost all the time worked fine but Arcserve for WinNT and Win2000 servers mess it up.

It is a virus.
I have work with Arcserve since 1994. There have always been problem.
Like my last error today.
When trying to restore a file I cant see the file in session or tree view but I can see it in the database.
We are planing to migrate to Legato Networker.
Good luck with Arcserve...

Hi!
I can´t stop an active arcserve job. When I try to stop it the regular way it responds that it cant be done.
When I stop the services the services autostarting.
I also disabled the services and then killed the services but the job still show it´s active.
A restart doesn´t solve the problem...
