    Right click My Computer -> manage -> Disk Management. You can setup a software mirror from here, although Paganatron is right in suggesting that a hardware Raid is more reliable. If you setup a software mirror from within XP remember to create an ERD so that you can boot if your mirror fails

    Hddguru is right, Your drive has failed. Ring Compaq and check the warranty. They will replace the faulty drive. Restore from backups once drive has been replaced.

    When doing a ctrl alt delete on our doc Win 2000 server the lock computer button is greyed out and unusable even when logged in with full permissions. Has anyone come across this before? I seem to remember reading that trojans can have this effect but don't find anyting amiss with a full scan.
