We got into the Monitor Mode and listed the command line list. Looking to monitor the paging trunk port to see who is accessing it. Without spending a life time figuring out each command - can you help.
Sam
Telecomboy, That is a plausible answer to this problem. The Conf Rm phones are the best Plantronic make and maybe just maybe that is the problem. If it worked for you why not me too! I will get back to you with an answer.
Thanks,
Sam
There could be something here. The problem is noticed on Plantronic Conference Rm phones. If I use my Butt-Set in the Phone Rm and plug it into the 016 T/R card and speed dial a test number - no failures even when on the same port as the Conf Rm phone. I will check into this Thank to all who...
When I look at the last 024TDL card it only has 4 TTR instead of the usual 8 TTR. I don't know why only 4 showed up and none can be tested beyond #44 TTR.
That is why I think there may be a limit of TTR that can be seen and tested in a Magix. I went to a 3 cabinet Legend and there wasn't a...
The one thing I did not mention was that the 016T/R card in the 1st CAB was a 617F34, #700285737. I did not pull the card and check it for a jumper or number, it TTR TEST OK. It has been in the switch since day one and this probelm rose it ugly head after Verizon did a office cutover to...
The problem is that when dialing a number from an Analog telsets sometimes the call goes through and sometimes you get the message "that number can't be called" in a male voice or something like that from Verizon. I TESTED ALL OF THE ANALOG TELSETS AND THEY ALL PASTED THE DIALPAD TEST. NO...
I gave a 3 cabinet Legend and in the last cabinet, this is the card line up.
016TR
016TP
016MLX
MLM007
016MLX
If I change out one of the unused 016TP CARDS for 008MLX, will I Have to renum all of the remaining ports or will the Adjuncts in the 008MLX count up for the 16 Analog ports
How do you get to the .prompt from the @ prompt to change extension passwords on a Octel w/WYSE terminal.
I can get info out with the @Prompt like @ L M <<MBX#>> but need to get to the next level?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Sam
Mr. Joe W.,
You are absolutly correct about being a newbe in IP Office. I usually remove them and install Partners or Merlin Magix equipment. This is for a small used car lot with 4 phones and computers. A classic example of technology overkill.
So any help is appreciated, I plan on retiring...
With a couple of days behinh this event the T1 is still up and hasn't taken a dump. But when I check the error log I see a 6C09 error and checking the slot I is a MaxAlm BLUE and between 061 and 052 MIS's. I think a few of these MIS is OK, but not sure. One thing for sure - What I don't know...
Last night (Friday) the carrier's technician came out and again they stated that their circuit looked good and that they saw errors coming from the switch. I tested the board controller and internal loopback test and all passed OK. The carrier changed the slot in the smartjack and the smartcard...
The last thread lost formatting on my computer screen.
I do not have a external CSU between the smart jack and the 100DS1 card. I have many Legends/Magixs like that. The T1 is a PRI only, all voice no need for a external CSU. By the way AVAYA installed this switch years ago.
Here is the...

Merlinman,
This switch has been in service for a long time without any problems and on Feb 21, 2006 the network provider said that the circuit began dropping out momentary and then reconfiguring itself again. I ran all of the test and the cards all passed. The makeup of the switch is:
