Aaron, the cable you refer to has 6 female slots on the printer end; the printer only has 5 male terminals. So, no, it is not a direct replacement. At any rate, it is "Out of stock: Until further notice."! Thanks, Terry

Dany, the printer has 7600+ prints on it. I have used it. The printhead is unlocked. The error came from me unplugging the sensor during troubleshooting & shows up no more. Still have the original issue; won't get past initialization upon complete warmup. Thanks, Terry

Thanks Oscar. I think it came up when I unplugged it's connection on the circuit board trying to trouble-shoot why the printer won't initialize. Any solutions for that one? I've done everything Xerox's site suggested; power up after disconnecting the board connectors & left PhaserShare card...

Dany, the heater seems to be working properly. I can see it lit all the way across & it seems to dim or get brighter depending upon the call for heat. The "clicking" noise is coming from the center relay on the lower left side. It clicks as the unit goes through it's warmup...
