I think after using Zen for a while you'll soon see the value of it compared to Altiris, epsecially when you use it on a large site, With Altiris, it can be more complex to set up and you also find you'll need more servers running SQL etc, so the costs escalate for hardware and software...

Try adding an entry for your Exchange Server in your local hosts file on one of the workstations that is suffering this delay. This will check to see if it is a DNS issue. Win2K and Exchange rely heavily on DNS.

I've had a similar problem. Very frustrating. I cured it by adding NetBEUI (Providing you have a DC on the remote site, as NetBEUI is not routeable). Can't explain why. I looked everywhere for a solution but to no avail.
I have now removed NetBEUI and all is OK...... Why??
