In MSpace everything displays in color but in PSpace only black (background) & white (drawing). I once had this problem and was able to figure it out. I'm not that smart anymore. Please advise. Thanks.

I tried what you suggested but it didn't work. However, because of you I went back to the Autodesk website and found what I should have used all along. Instead of the script I used a lisp that they had on the website. It worked! I think what you suggested would have worked but I was probably...
Todd,
I do but only half-_____ed. It starts AutoCAD without the Startup Dialogue box, but I have to repeatedly hit FILE in the upper left hand corner of the screen until it finally lets me select one of the previous files I've worked on. In other words, if I try to go directly to the OPEN icon...
Hey, it worked! Thanks for the assistanze. Since we're slow here at work today (the last couple of weeks!), now I'll tackle the metal pan roof deck LISP I've been wanting to create. If it doesn't work, I'll show you guys the text code. I hope I don't embarrass myself though.

In AutoCAD 2002 I am trying to figure a way to have a script run whenever I open an existing drawing that will set the current layer filter (see "Named Layer Filters" in the Layer Manager) to "Show all Xref dependent layers" and then have it invert this setting before getting out of the command...
All,
Here's the metal roof deck (wide rib) I'm looking for, dimension wise: 1-1/2" deep; 6" center of rib to center of rib; 2-1/2" from the uppermost corner of one rib to another; the slope of the angled sides should be around 10 degrees or 1/4" in the x-axis.
Thanks in advance for your help...
Chello!
I need to draw metal pan roof deck alot and don't have a good way to do it now. Does anyone know of a good lisp that can do this. I'm looking for one that asks the user to input two different points on the drawing, then asks for a height, and viola, it draws the metal pan roof deck for...
Todd,
Thanks for the help. It still doesn't work though. Here's what I have so far.
I created a file called "close.scr" and saved it in the AutoCAD 2002 directory on my C: drive. Here is the text:
close
[after typing "close", I hit return...then I saved)
Then, I right clicked the AutoCAD...
Ok, here's the problem. I went to the Autodesk website for support and followed the instructions for ID# TS71560 and it works like I want it to BUT...AutoCAD locks up and I have to CONTROL/ALT/DELETE to get out!
I basically was sick of AutoCAD starting a new drawing upon startup and me having...

All-
In order to get photo (image) colors to print out accurately, I need to go to "imageadjust" and manually change the brightness, contrast, and fade for each photo in my drawing. This is tedious. I'm using 2002 - R14 doesn't have this problem because colors print out realistically, i.e...
I have a drawing with color photos attached to it. The colors look fine when printed in R14 but look gaudi in 2002. What do I do to make the colors look more like they are supposed to? Thank you very much.
I'm lost! The problem is that 11X17 isn't available when I try to plot and scroll thru paper sizes...only letter and custom are. I have to open up AutoCAD R14 to plot 11X17 (and we had to go thru alot to get THAT to work at 11X17 paper size). What should I do? Is this AutoCAD's or the printers...
