John, you had me thinking... what am I doing wrong here?
Each phone's DN is a dedicated DID. In the case of 3903s and up, there is a rollover DN (eg; 6424/5424). If an extension is not being used... it's outed. If someone leaves a phone unplugged... the port is automatically disabled. When I...
This might be more than what you need... thanks for taking a look.

Hello all,
Would someone please tell me what "BUG4005 Lost time slot idle Call Register"
actually means?
I have had 2 system INIs in the past 2 weeks (yesterday was one) where the system basically restarts itself downing the entire system for about 10 minutes.
This BUG error is the only one...
We have 11 Appple XServes here and one spare. Some G4s and some G5s Each XServe is attached to an XRAID or a half of one. We have experienced one failed FibreChannel card and a some failed drives over the last 3 years.
If you are investing in Apple Server Solutions, it pays to have an inside...
Try http://www.attotech.com/scsigrid.html and check out the UL4S PCI Card.
It's been awhile, we use SCSI LTO Autoloaders on the G4 Servers using UL3D cards but I don't see that those are available.
Why SCSI? You can back up to firewire.

I'm assuming you are using OS 10.3.9 or earlier since 10.4 (Tiger) requires QuickTime 7.
QuickTime 6.5.2 Reinstaller for QuickTime 7.0.1 is downloadable on the Apple Web Site - http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/quicktime652reinstallerforquicktime701.html
About this update
The QuickTime...
I clone OS and Applications to other computers but I installed everything on a firewire drive.
I startup from that firewire drive and use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone to an erased drive on each Mac.
Does that make since?

Command + K at the finder level will give you a dialog box in which to enter an IP address or domain name to find servers and computers over the network.
If you are trying to find a printer, use Printer Setup Utility in /Applications/Utilities/Printer Setup Utility.

Hello All,
Does anyone know of a doorphone w/ contact control that will work on either an analog or digital TN port? I am out of space on trunk card.
Thanks in advance.

teekow,
4060 is the old DID# and 6447 is the new DID#.
I moved some people from the 8th floor to the 9th. We would like to keep the 9th floorextensions 6000 #s and the 8th floor 4000 #s. So i need to forward the old extension to the new for a period of 30 days. For instance, when someone calls...
In ACD, does maxp= 1 (ncfw=voice mail dn) mean that the call will generally go to the NCFW mail box? If so, what is the value to send the call to the DN and then to voice mail on no answer?
Thanks
Okay, I can dial in from outside and reach the NCFW 6447 but am being told by the user that this is intermittent. He says that sometimes the call will go directly to the 6447 VM or the caller will experience ring, pick-up and silence.
Instead of an ACD should I have just created a phantom DN...
Hi All,
I have an ACD set up for a person moved from one DID range to another. The problem is that when the ACDN is called from the outside, the call does not go thru. Here is the config. What did I do wrong?
Thanks,
JustShady

Hi all,
Is it possible to go into a VM account in Call Pilot and change the Mailbox Number, Extension DN 1, MWI DN and Callback DN. and have any existing mail be available on the new DN? Or will I be screwing up an account?
Thanks,
Just Shady
John,
When I set up the new ACD, the extension 4040 would ring thru to the new extension 6429 and would be answered by the VM account at 6429. I assume it is because I deleted all other appearances of 4040 including the CP VM account.
This is okay though, I like the way this works.
Thanks...
