    The gateway restore and all most sure it was it with a virus,and i think your right on the CIH virus but i doen't known how to handle that. help

    have you tried ctrl-alt-del once then close all programs except explorer,aoltray. Also run you anti-virus program,plus run scandisk and defrag I'am not going to check back so e-mail me if that works one way or another flysmu@aol.com
