downgrading from advanced server to professional
Do yourself a favor man, don't even bother!!! The time and pain it will take to downgrade will be more than just installing Professional. Just backup any data you need and reinstall the applications. Are you a glutton for stress?- Nobbie

C1924 lost management console
I don't know whether you all have resolved this issue yet or thrown out those switches. BUt, I just got an old 1900 switch last week and was having the same problem. I went to the ends of the earth and back but no help. Anyway....the resolution is a DB9 female to DB9 female null modem cable. -
Can I upgrade the IOS for a Cisco Catalyst 1900 Switch
I am having the same problem I have an older model 100 switch with IOS 5.37 I can setup all the parameters for the TFTP upgrade but when I try it just jumps back to the menu prompt. The TFTP server says that the transfer was aborted by client request. Can these switches even be upgraded?
