I have the same questions about the users with admin rights having to manually click the update icon, as opposed to the none admin users getting the updates without a prompt. We had an issue with getting the patch to run. When we set up the app object, we elected to have the object ask for the reboot rather than the patch exe. The location of tnsnames.ora in an enterprise environment?
In a enterprise environment, where would you keep the tnsnames.ora file? In my environment, we are mostly Windows NT/2k/XP Novell clients. I think putting it on the sys\public of each Novell server for each context, then pointing the value in the registry to it using the %SERVER% env variable...- jbezdan
