    true, that is a multiple select element, but the user must still press ctrl while clicking his itmes from the list...i wnat the user to be able to select items without pressing ctrl or shift......thanhks for your reply!

    no help??...:( I have tried the following... I cannot nslook up..gives me errors...I CAN ping by alias www.sears.com but CANNOT ping its ip...."no reply"??..any ideas...

    add on- I did some testing...and when the pc is running as should....I can't ping outside the LAN...I disabled it....but when the above post is true...I CAN ping as I said?.....so something is disconnecting, rules are being broke...!!?? Thanks again C

    My prob is that after two hours of being able to browse the internet with a browser...I no longer can...all other pc's can, servers ect...after a reboot I can then surf again....I have swaped NIC's with no fix....I can successfully ping outside the lan..and reslove IP's to host...for example...

    it did lead me to the correct idenifying issue...antivirus...disabled it and it saved as it should have....so I need to reconfigure AV....thanks a lot...

    I have XP pro loggon to 2000 server...shared drive browsing/opening files are fast as should be...but the slowness comes when I save a new/edited file....no matter what size..1k-10 mb....they all take 2-3 mins to save....the server and xp box are side by side....internet/intranet is fast..only...
