I have a question about IP Softphone. Could I use Avaya IP Softphone on a PC to replace the digital set that is in our training center? We need to be able to make conference calls that everyone in the training center can hear over the conference room speakers.
Thank you for your help.
Avaya...
Thank you for the input. I too, really like the Sonicwall prodcuts and the interfaces.
I just set up a Sonicwall SSL-VPN unit for a side job and liked it so much I bought one for my main job. It makes remote access a breeze.
Thanks again.
I have an IP Office 412 and have been dropping calls for a couple of hours about every two weeks. I starting monitoring the system and got the message below.
Does anyone know why I might be getting this from the CO?

Why would one pick a watchguard over a sonicwall. My Vendor is trying to talk me into purchasing a Watchguard instead of a Pro 2040 to replace our old Pro 200. We've always used SonicWall and have had little trouble with them and I'm not sure I want to learn all over again.
Is there a good way in goldmine to filter within a certain radius of a zip code? The problem I'm am running into is that when I do a search for zip codes in a certain radius, I get too many returns (over 900 for a 50 mile radius). Is there a better way to do this?
Start by building a module in the Short Codes region of VM Pro.
Call it the name of your short code. I will use 499 for this example.
Add a Start Point. Add an Edit Play List action. Add a Generic action.
Connect the Start point item to the Edit Play List item. Connect the Edit Play List...
You should be able to build a module to do it. We have a satellite office in Philly and we do it via SCN. It's only one office, but I think it work for 7 just the same if the extensions are different.
I will post an example soon.
You can run Delta server on your IP Office server. That will log all calls in CSV format for viewing in Excel. That is on the Admin CD. Install it as a service though in case your server reboots.
And just as easy you could set up codes for dialing LD.
In my opinion you should be logging...
I should also mention that when it drops the calls, static starts to build up over about 5 to 10 seconds until there is pure static and the call drops.
The local PRI is in a single port PRI card in slot A on the 412. The LD PRI is in a dual port PRI card in slot B. The line is plugged in to the port on the right side of the dual port card when looking at the rear of the 412.
We have our LD T-1 set up as line 6. Occasionally we lose that PRI. If you are on a long distance call you hear static that gets worse and then drops most of the calls on that T-1 (Line 6). Is there a way to prove wether it is the IP Office (412) or the telco (Sprint)? I captured it in...
