We have a user that gets a lot of complaints from people that cannot hear her.

Is there a way to adjust the outgoing volume for this one particular user? Can it be done on the 4424?

IPO 412, VM PRO, DS16 units, 4424 series phones.

Individual user volumes can only really be adjusted if the user is an IP phone. If they are, then under the EXTENSIONS section, pull up that particular phone's settings and go to the second tab. You'll be able to adjust GAIN values. Be careful, as if the site has Analog lines, you can get annoying echo if you boost it too much.

Do they use a headset? If so, its possible the headset settings need to be adjusted/tweaked on the headset's interface box.

Hope this helps...

The headset plugs directly into the 4424's headset port.

Might be worth looking at an amplifier for the headset. A decent one should have volume features on it.
