I need to create a remote trust with a Domain Name that already exists as a Secondary DNS ZONE in the Trusted Domain (for web purposes w/different IPs). This is prohibiting me from completing a trust with the (new) actual Domain. Is there a way to complete the Trust without rebuilding the...

Any thoughts? Is there another / better way to utilize my six drives?
**I would like to use Raid 10 but do not feel there would be a huge performance boost with only 100 active mailboxes.

There's is something to be said for properly removing a DC from a network. It's nice not having the same event codes over and over and over, and a much cleaner, less trafficy network as well.
I needed to error on the side of caution for this one but next time I will use the script.
Thanks...
Hi Everybody,
I have a Windows 2000 Domain I inherited...
The Domain has a primary DCAD and replicating DC on the LAN and two other replicated ADs at remote locations. I noticed a server called "MANAGEMENT" as one of the servers in AD SandS set to replicate. I have come to find out...
I need to secure my Email by installing an SSL certtificate, but I am not sure if I should install the certificate on my actual Exchange box, or the SMTP server.
My LAN clients connect using Outlook (Imap) and my remote clients connect using OWA 2003.
Exchange Server is:

Are you using McAfee Anti Virus? OS?
I had an issue with McAfee and printing (Some time ago)where halfway through a print job the spooler will hang and the network printers will disappear. The user would restart to regain the printers but this was a consistent problem and the spooler probably...
I need to make a back-up of my Aspect SCSI hdd. I am using Symantec Ghost 7.5, which is able to read/write Unix partitions. I boot to Ghost but Ghost does not allow me to select the 2GB Aspect drive as a source. Any suggestions???
Thanks in advance,
Murray
Currently my clients access my Farm (their apps) through Citrix Program Neighborhood and application set manager. I want to make the applications available to users that do not have the client installed. Is NFuse the only solution?
OK, I've found "Aspect Winset Service Provider" listed as a Provider in the Telephony / Advnaced tab. I can remove this as a Provider and the Aspect sign-on will not launch at boot.
but then,
Aspect will not work when launching from start/Programs.
We are running Aspect Client 3.0.4 and the Aspect Sign On page is displayed every time the PC is booted. This only happens on my 2000 and XP machines but I cannot for the life of me find where to shut it off.
-I've checked Startup, Regestry, Awinset.ini, Autoexec, servises, etc.
Any sugestions?
...we have a mixed-bag of workstations consisting of some 98se machines, which are scattered all over the country. Is the TSE License only necessary when I publish a desktop? (probably not but) Can I get around this by just publishing the Apps?
**We do own 80, 2000 Server Cals**
Thanks Again.
I will soon build two Citrix Metaframe 1.8 machines using NT 4.0 TSE. (I do not own enough cals for 2k)
Should I build one of the Citrix boxes as a PDC or should I have a completely seperate (non-Citrix) box handling user profiles and authentication? I always thought the later. does it make...

I've been trying to get my company to upgrade it's client machines (with little success) for well, three years now.

I currently have 30 users using win98 that log directly on to NT 4.0 Terminal Server running Metaframe 1.8.
My plan is to have all users authenticate through a PDC running Win 2000 Server and then connect across to Citrix via an ICA...
I recently installed Windows 2000 Server along with Metaframe 1.8 Migration for Windows 2000. The strange part is I cannot log on a Windows 98' client. I even made sure to have the newest Citrix ICA Client.
What am I missing?

Thanks,
Murray
