    What port does DTMF use?

Is there any other good way to test whether or not the call control server is able to receive the RTP traffic?

    What port does DTMF use?

What steps are used... -> IP set user calls the Voicemail Hunt group -> Call goes to Voicemail and is answered -> IP User tries to input DTMF codes to enter Voicemail -> -What happens then? **Call Controller acts like it is not "hearing" the DTMF input. "Please enter your password", user...

    What port does DTMF use?

    K. I understand. I was referring to when you talk to a person who is not on the same local network, ie a cell phone. I'm not a big phone guy, if you haven't noticed ;) I'll do some testing between the phone and the controller.

    What port does DTMF use?

What if the call is off-net though?

    What port does DTMF use?

To be clear: Standard phone calls work perfectly.

    What port does DTMF use?

Since they can use the phones and talk to people, that means both directions are OK, right?

    What port does DTMF use?

@Irwin What other information would help? I replied to his original post. Let me know if I missed something. Also - if it uses the same stream as the RTP... Voice is working perfectly, so that tells me it likely isn't a problem with the routing (ACL's or NAT).

    What port does DTMF use?

Any clue which one of those DTMF falls under?

    What port does DTMF use?

A few sets are using TW config, although ONLY the non-TW sets are having the issue. They use 5330's. System is 3300. Not sure what EMEM voicemail is - they are using embedded voicemail though. There were recently some changes on their router to NAT and ACL's - These changes should not have...

    What port does DTMF use?

When users are prompted to enter their voicemail password, they hit the buttons, but the call control server doesn't seem to recognize that any input was given. I would like to packet sniff the traffic if possible. What port does DTMF use?

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

I'm not sniffing the traffic, so I'm not sure 'what' they are. I can just tell that they aren't hitting my QoS match. They are going from phone to 3300 through a T1.

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Not sure what's wrong. I used: option 125 ascii "DSCP=46v46s26" I setup my QoS policy to make traffic on DSCP 26. I cleared my current DHCP binding and restarted the phone. Pulled a new DHCP lease. When making phone calls, no traffic is matching on DSCP 26. Any idea where I went wrong?

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Is there any way to verify these settings other than sniffing the traffic? Thank you so much for your help - really helped me out big time.

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

That is so awesome. I can't thank you enough. What are "default packets"? I will probably just do 46/46/46, then give high priority to all traffic coming from the phones.

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Anyone know? "If I set the DSCP value via DHCP option 134, does that only change the DSCP of the RTP stream (and not the control traffic)?

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Thanks for the reply slapin. We have a Mitel 3300: http://www.mitel.com/DocController?documentId=9555 Yes - these sites are connected via T1's, so maxing out bandwidth is a very real issue :) If I set the DSCP value via DHCP option 134, does that only change the DSCP of the RTP stream (and...

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

I haven't gained any more info on the button lag yet, and I have requested that next time a user can't hear the other person (or visa versa), that they call me immediately after to run several tests. In the meantime, I would like to setup QoS for Call Control. Right now I'm using DHCP option...

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Thank you for the response. You've definitely pointed me in the right direction. I'm not a phone guy myself (networking, but not much voip), so I wasn't sure on what information to get until now :) I'll report back - thanks again.

Mitel Call Control QoS - DSCP or Port?

Hi All, I recently set up a large WAN which is using Mitel as their phone vendor. I used option 134 to set DSCP values on the phones, which they are indeed picking up. Users report that call quality is excellent. The only complaint they have is that sometimes when calling out, they feel like...
