Have an MCD and Nupoint with the latest and greatest s/w. Customer wants to record outside conference calls unattended and then transcribe them later. These can be over 2 hours in length. From what I've read and tested after setting the Caller and User Message Length from 5 to 60 minutes, 60...
It's a CXi with 256MB but I upgraded it to 512 before I did the upgrades which went very smooth by the way. Used the latest S/W Installer with no problems whatsoever. Thanks guys. Only thing, and I plan on looking this up, is that all the phones had the Open Voicemail App (Visual Voicemail?)...
Thanks fellas, latest it is. One more thing, reading the release notes for MCD4 it states that a new options password is required, did you find that to be true? Thanks again
Upgrading this old Rel. 8 to latest and greatest MCD 6. So I'm going from R8 to MCD 4, do the Migration Checklist, then going to MCD 6. I've heard differing views on whether to use the MCD 4 SI tool from R8 to MCD 4 then use the latest SI tool for the MCD 4 to MCD 6 upgrade as opposed to just...
I know this sounds weird and I'm not making this up but I have an account that believes their ACS R7 with 2 lines, 5 phones, no vmail is dialing customers in their System Speed Calls by itself and after 2 rings or the party answers, call disconnects. This isn't possible is it????
They removed...
Actually kwb that was the case. 5610 only has 1 programmable key and back when it was put in and programmed as Generic SIP Phone you could actually program that key as something other than a multicall of itself. Now there's a 5610 Dect (or something like that) phone type and if you set it for...
Thanks MitelGuy, just to clarify, 3289 is not even in 5686's PRG, it's just strictly a button only on his phone set to ring. So calling 3289 should only ring 3289 and has no connection with the members of his PRG correct? Thanks
User says when a secondary line key rings on his phone his PRG member would also ring.
User has prime DN 5686 (5330 phone) with personal ring group 5686 with 1 member 5691, a 5610 phone. He also has a secondary extension 3289 (non-prime broadcast group) set to ring.
I just worked a service...
Not to highjack a dead thread but a Partner ACS with a PVM (large or small)....is everything voicemail related on the PVM card or is there some vmail s/w in the ACS processor? Someone at work thought there was some vmail s/w on the processor but i'm not buying it. Thanks
Thanks kwbMitel, I really like the 3300 but this part of it really sucks sometimes. I guess it's based on their belief that everyone will have vmail and reroute to it as opposed to recalling the transfering party.....
From what I've been told and from what I've tested, the recall timer used is from whatever originated the call. If a calls comes in on the PRI, then throughout the call the trunk COS recall timer is used. If a station originates the call then it's COS timer is used.
I searched thru previous threads, didn't find anything that gave a definitive answer to this issue so I thought i'd open my own. I've tried many things myself but to no avail.
On the 3300 MCD Rel 5, is there a way to have different transfer recall timer values other than the one on the PRI, for...
LOL...my thoughts exactly.....but they had a T1 previously with no CID and now they have it and I have to deal with it somehow. Thanks guys for the input !!!
