Win98SE --> WinXP = Yes/No??
Stay with 98... XP can be a bit querky ... If 98 is working fine and you have no other reason to upgrade the os then don't.,, onmly coz yourself hassle...- allankirk

How do I use the modem to dial a tele/mobilephone?
Well think of it this way, if you are connected to the internet and you also have a proper phone on the same line, what happens when you pick up that phone, you'll here a load of screaches and noises from you computer. You modem is getting used for the internet, you can't use it to dial a house...- allankirk

PC does not boot
First of all, I'm guesing you have just built this machine and it hasn't worked yet.! So check or maybe reseat the memory, check you have the CPU setting correctly set. If all this fails, simply disconnect everything, and have only the the video card connected to the motherboard, take out all...- allankirk
