I'm not sure I see this adding a huge amount of value to our security. If a vulnerability is found in any of the major SMTP engines then surely the people trying to take advantage of it will be aware of this fixup? What's to stop them ignoring the obscured header and trying the vulnerability...
I recently joined a company with a very badly configured network infrastructure - particularly in the area of security, DNS, DHCP and address space.
At the moment we're using a mass of ranges which cross networks owned by INTEL, EDS and the US gov as the "network admin" has assinged entire...
Thanks for the answers. Very useful.
The server is running at a branch office and I don't have very much control over the way things are configured.
One further question. When I telnet to the mail server via the internet (rather than from the RDP session to the server itself) I occasionally...

I have a user writing a lengthy report in Word 2003 who is experiencing some problems with page numbers.
She has a large multi-page table which she would like to insert in landscape while the rest of the document should be in portrait.
She inserted 'next page' section breaks and added the...

That's definitely well worth knowing.
Our main group has four users, but the overflow has thirty-one.
If I change the main huntgroup to overflow to two smalelr groups and split my thirty-one users between those two, will that cure the problem?
Many thanks
Okay, to clarify.
We have a main huntgroup which contains the office manager and the receptionist, and an overflow group, which contains everyone else. Everyone has an indivicual direct number and a main number calls the main huntgroup. If no one answers on that group the incoming call is...
