I have a Motorola MT2a (formerly Tut Systems) DSLAM that I'm trying to config to take a trunk from a Cisco 2960, and have one of the tagged vlans come out the CPE side untagged.
I have the Eth1 port setup to take the vlan as tagged, the DSL link as tagged, and the CPE port as untagged on that...
Anyone know of a resource or reference to manage BelAir access points? Over here we have to manage some BA100 and BA20. Some practical documents or a forum like this would be great.
I see that Cisco is implementing M-Drive and ClientLink on version 6.0 of the WLC software. But does anyone know if M-Drive and ClientLink are currently supported if the 1250 and 1140 are autonomous?
Below is a link to where it mentions that it only runs on the controller...
It was a few years ago when I took the Cisco INTRO exam. One of the questions showed me the output of a show controller command on a 10 Mbps Ethernet interface on a switch. It asked me to determine the type of cable attached to the interface and a few multiple guess options to follow. It...
We have a 2811 router with two T1 WICs (wic-1dsu-t1-v2) installed. We would like to add three more WICs. Now the 2811 has 4 WIC slots and an NME slot. Is there some kind of adapter to put WIC slots in teh NME slot, or is there a 2 port T1 WIC, or do we need a new/different router?
Is it possible to route Office files(like Excel spreadsheets, Word docs, etc...) using the routing slip feature, to recipients in different Exchange organizations.
I highly doubt it. The 4100 only has wirespeed switching between network ports on the same module, but I think that's only on the same VLAN. There's no wirespeed switching through the backplane when you go between modules. I'd put this question to presales w/HP.
I think there is another feature that keeps track of the document when several other people are working on it, but I don't know how to go into that and change it. I've only dealt with shared workbooks and their bloated sizes...
As for the security message on the other computer, that's a...
One way that the file gets bloated is if you set Excel to share the document. When you do this, you have the incredibly annoying "feature" of tracking each individuals changes to the spreadsheet. To turn this on and off, in Excel you go to Tools then click on Share Workbook... From there you...
Let me also add that if you're running Metaframe XP, you have the capability of scheduling a reboot, if that's what you really want to do.
As for services starting up w/o being logged in, that is generally true, but it depends on the service itself. Some of them needs some intervention to...
I would be more nervous using the shutdown.exe command, but that is just me... I usually just do reboots through Terminal Services. After I begin the reboot, I do a continous ping until I see the server go down and back up again. Then I go back in TS to verify it is ok.
I can't speak on the effects of the hardware, but if you can't trust the power coming into your building, you really should invest in getting your own UPS systems.
Try calling HP support. I would imagine they can direct you to the new location.
I've had a problem with an LH3 that wouldn't boot up. I called them and they walked me through fixing it. No support contract or anything, and no charge for it either.
No, I'm talking about when you click on a hyperlink that has something like telnet://127.0.0.1, that it would open and connect using the telnet client of your choice. I know in Win2k there is a way to do it through the registry...
Anyone know how to change the default telnet app in XP? I found something off Google a year ago for Win2k, but I can't find that or anything for XP now. I think it was just a simple registry change, if I remember correctly...
