Hi,
I am new to pix firewalls and wanted to know if there is any certain way of installing a 10/100 Card for a 515? I also wanted to know (or get some example configs) of how to create another interface (DMZ). We currently have an INSIDE interface and an OUTSIDE interface with the following...
Hi mate - thanks for that - I understand exactly what you mean but I have one more question mate - If the LL Router reduces its priority - when the LL (or serial interface) comes back up, will the priority of the LL router increment back to become the active router?
Thanks for the super prompt...
Hi,
I have been given the challenge of setting up HSRP but need to know if I can configure ISDN backup with HSRP. Let me explain: -
I have 2 sites and have a Leased Line between the two and Backup ISDN for that line (on a separate box). I also have 2 x 2600 Series Routers and need to run HSRP...
I have realised you actually specifiy the Serial Int under the Controller interface - but I have asked this question before - but can you bundle 2 number E1s together with Frame Relay Multilink? I have been reading and am sure you can do it. Has anyone done this before - can you give me example...
Hi,
I have a C3725 Router, and a PRI 2CE1B Network Module (2 Port E1). I need to configure to make use of Multilink Frame Relay - and bundle both E1s together. But do I need a serial card as well - you can't specifiy Encap Frame on the actual Controller?? How are you supposed to link or bind...
There will be at most 2 Tunnels needed. Does this mean that aditional Hardware is needed - at present I have 1 x C3725 and 1 x 4 port E1 Controller Card. BTW, if anyone reads this thread who knows, my question still stands - can you bundle 2 x E1's together using public Frame?? - to form 4MBPS.
I would personally buy a Cisco 1700 Series - as you have room to upgrade laters on and you can have FW (optional in IOS) and VPN capabilities. You also have room to insert 2 WICS - deffinatly the best choice - I have used them for a Network with DDR Routing and Frame - works a treat. Costs more...
Hi,
I have to install a Cisco 3725 with Frame Relay, but need to "bundle" 2 x E1 PRI Circuits together to form 4MB Line. My question is, can this be done using a normal E1 Controller?? If so how?? I know that Frame Relay can do Multilink. Also, I will be setting up a VPN to the States...
