I can't image my laptop to itself so my only option is to image the laptop to a network drive. Therein lies the problem - I can't. I am going to try using the "slow" switch to see if it is a timing issue.

I, too have had this problem. In a Win98 environment, you need to have both machines sharing something - a disk, a folder, a printer before that "sharing" machine could be seen over your net. I think Win2K is the same. Also Win2K gets a bit funkier with regard to access permissions...

On my laptop (master) I only have one drive so that isn't it. I suspect it is the last item: incorrectly configured NIC drivers but I have no idea how to configure the Ghost NIC setup other than by using their supplied wizard. Oh well, thanks anyway for the post!

I have tried to Ghost my Win2K laptop to a Win2K desktop over my network. Both slave and master use Netgear NICs. I can get it to start and to about 30% complete but then error 34004 at the master and 33000 at the slave machine. Process ends. Any ideas? Master NIC is Netgear FA510, Slave is...
