I've had this problem (IE slow oppening first page) for a couple of month now. (xp sp2)
When I first started IE it was always taking about 6-10 sec to open the first page, after that browsing was fine.
I've seen many forum describing this problem with many different soluton...
I'm running win2k3 server with DHCP enable, when users connect to our network in vpn, the dhcp server leases them the same address as the internal workstations.
It's supposed to check if the address is in use before giving it to another system...
Someone else has the same problem ?

I'm trying to import a mailbox in exchange 2003 but I want to put every folders in french.
I have setup exmerge to rename every folders ... it works fine, except "Inbox" and "Deleted Items" ???
Those 2 folders won't rename ? someone know's why ...

I'm in test phase with a win2k3 domain and a test workstation.
If I prevent my users from changing the time with a gpo, the Net Time command doesn't work.
I wanted to know if I need to put the Net time /set /y command in my script to sync my workstation or XP does that itself ?

I'm using exmerge for 5.5 to export all my mail in pst files!
1 I export a mailbox in pst
2 The user delete some stuff in the mailbox do I export it again using the merge option...
Exmerge doesn't shrink it... it leaves the deleted...
I think everything is in the subject ! Any suggestion, "must have" ?
