Hi there!
We are planning on pushing out a new internet usage policy. What management would like is to get all users, when they log onto their workstations (initially right after they input their username and pass), to get the internet usage policy infront of them. They have to read it and then...
Hi all...
I got the username logging in the web logs (ISALOG_*_WEB_000.w3c) but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the username in the firewall logs. Or even the computer name resolution.
Anyone have any info that would help?
Or have a link that will point me in the direction...
I'm pretty confident they aren't deleted emails as they are sitting in the inbox of the users folder. Plus my backup says they are in there as well and it can't back them up because they seem to be corrupted...
*Sigh*
Looks like I will have to run an exmerg :(
Hi all,
I've got a problem where my backups aren't successfully going through due to some hidden email in users’ mailboxes.
I can't see these messages in Outlook2000 or OWA, but I can see them in the M: drive.
How do I get rid of them? Short of running an exmerge and recreating the mailbox...

Been testing on another dummy server to no...

That works great between 2 linux machines...
I should have been clearer in my question...
Can I send a file from a M$ workstation to a linux server using ssh?

Hi all...

Thanks a plenty!
Rolly
How about configuring IMAP on Exchange5.5 and doing it that way? Been playing with that and it looks to work nicely as well... :)
Just a suggestion

I bought a usb to serial adapter for my laptop. Mine also didn't come with any XP drivers either...
Thankfully I found some on the web and now it works fine...
Sounds like I was lucky...
Rolly

Basically took the hdd out, put it into my test machine and scanned it... Lol! over 350 infections... Cleaned it all and told him I had to rebuild...
They never want to tell you the whole story first...
It just stopped logging in...
Had XP home on my laptop and bought Pro for work reasons...
Troubles I had was with the onboard nic, video card and modem... Installing the right drivers supplied from the manufactorer fixed them all... Windows update is good, but not for drivers (either older versions or not the exact ones you...

I've tried this with the local administrator as well as a generic user...
No success...
Same thing occurs in safe mode...
Am I looking at a rebuild?
Rolly
Yeah, I have tried that...
Found new creation (not copied from an existing user) "testuser" could log in and login script runs fine, but if I browse network neighbourhood go to my server and try to look in the "NETLOGON" share it comes up with access denied...
Very weird...
