    no errors but phaser 340 not melting ink

    I boot up my phaser 340 with no errors at all. But when I go to print a test page it comes out blank. I check the ink level and its fine, but I do notice that nothing was melted. Its says its melting the ink, and it takes 15 minutes to do so..can you help? Kris

    Here is what the phaser 340 service manual says about this error: Failure positioning drum maintenace cam during a drum maintenance cycle: check drum maintenance cam solenoid, clutch, home sensor, and related hardware. the manual doesn't say anything else on how to fix this, I hope this helps...

    From the service manual it says: The drum heater is running away. Unplug the printer NOW! Possible swapped power cable with the preheater. Possible swapped sensor cable at i/o #2. the manual doesn't say anything else on fixing this problem. Hope this helps, KRis

    phaser 340 and phaser 850

    I have a phaser 340 with an error code 06,001,42 with about 77,000 prints and a phaser 850 with and error code of 07,002.44 with about 20,000 prints. Xerox web site doesn't give much explanation, can you help me? Kris
