Phaser 340 Service Code 15,003.44

Hello,

I have a Tektronix Phaser 340 Printwer which has the following Service Required Code: 15,003.44:3244

In reading other user posted notes here, I have surmised that the :3244 is the page count.

What does this service code mean? and what will it take to fix it so that I can use the printer again. I have checked the Solid ink supply and it has plenty left in the solid Ink Stix's. I have also checked the solid ink overflow tray and it's essentailly clean, no big globbs.

From the service manual it says: The drum heater is running away. Unplug the printer NOW! Possible swapped power cable with the preheater. Possible swapped sensor cable at i/o #2. the manual doesn't say anything else on fixing this problem. Hope this helps, KRis
