On some systems running Internet explorer 7 when you try to access the Mycallpilot webpage IE7 freezes. It works fine in Firefox though any thoughts? the web page is added to trusted sites and the security for trusted sites is set to low but this does not help.
We had this problem and what we found was that on both servers under computer name changes we had to make sure that you click the "More" button and then enter the primary DNS suffix of the computer. So for example if your computer was named callpilotweb and your DNS suffix was microsoft.com...
Our server was patched at SU4, it turns out that it was a client side problem. Users accessing the Callpilot Manager use Windows XP and Windows Vista which have the Windows firewall turned on, we had to allow DCOM TCP port 135 on the client desktop firewalls and that resolved the slow login...
And after the update we are also getting DCOM errors on the Callpilot server such as these:
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer
<ip address> using any of the configured protocols.

The latest version is CP500S00G21A.exe which has App builder version 5.00.41.21 and is compatible with CallPilot Manager 4 & 5. This is what we have installed
Yes Both computers have Distributed COM Enabled and both can ping the server both have the latest version of App Builder installed except one connects and the other gets "Could not connect to AOS server
