    Win2k3 Server/Exchange 2003 OWA?

What does OWA use to encrypt data transversing the internet? Its not L2TP/IPsec or SSH2? Will s/mime secure everything sent? Does it use SSL? Will having the Exchange server do all this encryption slow it down? (Right now its all done on my firewall/VPN with onboard hardware for 3DES/AES...

Windows 2000 domain login with VPN?

The answer to your question is "NO". I do have a dummy account setup. But there is no way to log into the server with the dummy account. The server is not asking for login info, so there is no way to login:-) If I access the router with the server I can see all the IP's who login...

Windows 2000 domain login with VPN?

No wait, you can't get in without a "shared secret" which is a very long alpha/numeric with symbols! Thats what VPN is for:-) But once "in" the router and on the LAN, the server is not asking for a user name and password:-( The users are in different states thousands of...

Windows 2000 domain login with VPN?

The problem is the Server does not see the users coming in on the VPN. So the users are not prompted for user name and password for the domain. The Global VPN client's are using L2TP/IPsec into the router's WAN port. The Server is plugged straight into the LAN port. Example, the server is on...

Windows 2000 domain login with VPN?

I am running a Windows 2000 Server box plugged into a Sonicwall Soho3/25. I have Sonicwall Global VPN Client software on workstations/laptops. The win2k server gets an IP from the router. Clients can VPN into the router and ping the internal LAN. Everyones on the same subnet and can ping...

    RAM advice

I had a PII 266 that only worked with PC66 or PC100, PC133 would not boot. I believe the PII 350 was the first to use a 100mhz fsb. Being a P1, it might want PC66, usually PC100 will work. PC133 might not. x::0:0::::

    Overclocking a P2 300

I had a P2 266 that ran at 300Mhz:-) The heatsink got so hot it would burn your fingers!!! It was a large heatsink to, I add a fan to it and it was OK. Point is, thats a 35nm chip so its going to run HOT. You can get a slot-T adaptor ($19.95) or Powerleap ($39.95) and a Tualatin Celeron...

Heatsink/Fan combo on new P4 boxed cpu?

I just purchased a boxed P4 2.53Ghz chip and I noticed on the bottom of the heatsink is a 1 inch square piece of black foil. Its clued to the aluminum heatsink at the location where contact with the core would occur. Its only clued on 2 sides, so its kind of loose, not real secure on the...

    PENTIUM & CELERON

The Celeron uses the same core as its bigger brother (P2/P3/P4) but usually only has 128K L2 cache, and a slower FSB. The exception to this is the Tualatin P3 Celeron which has 256K L2 cache (but still the slower 100Mhz FSB). But, where there is a minus...there is a plus:-) The 100Mhz FSB on...

    P4 or Celeron

The Tualatin Celeron 1.4Ghz is not a P4, its a P3 built on a .13 die. Its much faster than a P4 at equal (or greater) mhz. I'm only getting the Tualatin Celeron 1.4Ghz (256K L2) as a cheap upgrade to my old Coppermine P3 667. It benchmarks about the same as an overclocked P4 Celeron at...
