You hit it right on the money! We did exactly that. I increased the interdigit timeout to 5 seconds and made sure there was a "competing" route pattern. I also had to take the check mark out of priority for the 911 route pattern. T We tested it with the PSAP and they did not receive the call if...
Yes, to both the responses. We swapped the FXO card and moved the port. It followed the line. It is the first line in the hunt group and so gets hit the most. The second line gets a tiny bit of the noise but, just for a split second. The third line in the hunt group doesn't get it at all. All...
Maybe I don't understand the question but, all I have had to do is "Add New" SMTP under the Notification Devices. I have had to do this a few voice mail users. We are running 7.0.
We are experiencing a problem with an analog line at one of our buildings. It is intermitant and only appears to be happening on the first line in the hunt group. Before an incoming call from the pstn hears a ringback, the caller hears a loud grinding noise. This noise can continue into the call...
Thank you so much for your response. In the past we have looked into a 3rd party software for this purpose but, it was not deemed cost effective. I will look into the software you are using to see if it is better. We are a public school system and finances are always tight.
Thanks again.
I have disassociated the lines many times without an additional phone button template being created. Although, I do already have templates created in advance. For instance, when I added the 7941 phones I created a 1 line template and a separate 2 line template before adding any phones.
Thanks so much for the suggestion. We have considered this but, it ties up using all numbers that begin with either 8 or 9 for internal numbers. We really don't want to tie up that many available numbers.
What we have are 2 route patterns for 911 (9.911 and 911). I have taken the Urgent Priority...
We are having a problem at our site with users accidently dialing 911 and hanging up. Our emergency services are not happy with us. We are able to find the calls but, I am hoping someone out there has found a way to stop this from happening. I'm thinking there should be a way to verify the...
You've probably already gotten the answer to this. But, there is a check box at the bottom of the Phone Configuration Page. The section is called Product Specific Configuration Layout and make sure the "PC Port" is enabled.
Some versions of Unity have a "caller input" section for individual users. In the past I had a problem where callers were getting into an individual's mailbox and then pressing 0. We generally have this set to ring the front office of a building but, if a person moves to another building without...
