IMHO you have to raise registration in GRT.avaya.com - there is an option to select when SMGR (or other applications) resides on VMWare. In Avaya records your system will still remain as System Platform based (Avaya support team will see SAL connection errors to System Platform of old SMGR)...
During change of ip-codec-set(s) there can be outage - maybe your vendor taken this into price (time to campout busy media-resources and bring them up, work OoH etc ?). Two hours seems 'cheap'.

check AES documentation. There is/was SMS service - it allow to use CM user to list/display/change objects in ACM via SMS service e.g. Nice had integration with ACM via SMS to match extensions with IP addresses grabbed by loggers from network devices.

License needs to be installed on VMWare WebLM server (separate component - the same as for ACM).

Hi,
please check CMS Supervisor settings (CMS Servers -> Properties) there must be SSH port 22 selected and correct CMS version (R17 in your case).
