Hi
Thanks for the responce, the problem is if we change say
invalid URL's not to be monitored and save. This is fine until the system is rebooted when all the invalid URL changes we make are lost. We then need to go through the settings again.
Hi,
Everytime we do changes to the settings on the 2d map against an NES Agent and do a file save preferances afterwards, the next time time the machine is rebooted all of our changes have been lost. Please could someone tell me what we are doing wrong.
Thanks.
I know that this is a daft request, its just that I can't for the live of me remember how to view the last sql statement a user performed using t'sql.
Could anyone please put me out of my missery.
Thanks,
Just that the xls spread sheet has the address lines all in 1 column, not in seperate columns which would allow for an easy import into sql server.
I have a spreadsheet sent to me from an outside company.
They have put all of the addressess into one field that they wish us to use. Now for us to do the required work I need to split out the address field. into Addr1, Addr2, Addr3, Addr4, Zip code, Country. This is how they have it but all in...
I asked what the setup was for the client that we are connecting into.
We don't have a VPN server as such. The way I have configured mine is that I have connected the Cisco PIX to a SteelBelt Radius server that authenticates the users according to certain criteria, the radius server then passes...
The Server at the otherside is running NT4.
We have reverted back to MS Dialup after having problems with the way they had configured their CISCO VPN software.
The client was configured on the client machine.
What is a DUN connection?
Hi,
I'm a complete novice when its comes to VPN, and I need some advice.
We have a client that has given us VPN access into their site between 0900hrs and 1730hrs.
We are in the process of setting up SQL Replication between the 2sites and as we loose connection each night I was wondering if I...
I'm trying to use replication across the VPN to another companies SQL Server 7 machine. I'm running SQL Server 2000 and wish to do a pull snapshot subscription from them.
The Replication is all set-up, just one thing seems to be standing in our way.
The agent on our machine has been unable to...
SQL Server 2000 Std. W2K OS
Something strange happens to our system after a reboot with the quoted identifiers.
All the on the server databases do not have the quoted identfiers checked, within the Stored Procedures we set the quoted Identifiers ON when required.
Now after a reboot it appears...
Hi,
Is there anyway in SQL Server that you can see when a stored procedure was modified. I have a stored procedure that was working and now will not just not work.
Thought is might have been a quoted idenitifer problem but the system has not been restarted,
I have 3 databases on the same server, country specific databases. I have the same stored procedure to run for each database. This does a BCP export out to a text file onto another W2K box. 1 database exports all the details no problem. The other 2 databases manage only to create the txt file...
I would look at using DTS but it will need to pick up a new datestamped file each time, not sure on how to set this within DTS.
i.e Today would be MK030611
Tomorrow would be MK030612
DTS will need to now which file to pick up and what to call it when sending out to a txt file.
Hi
I'm trying to set-up a stored procedure that will run through a number of tables and export the data into a text file on the server. I believe that the easiest way for this is to use bcp. But have hit on a problem with my stored procedure and wondered if anyone can see the answer.
Thanks...
no problem. I would advise don't drop the table as you will loose the relationships and constraints. If not too large delete the contents and insert new table.
