    Problem is though, it is not just windows update. It is also a secure server at the customer's bank website. If I ping the site it won't respond, yet it will in netscape. IE6 wont view the page.

    For anti-virus I use Grisoft's AVG 6. You can get a personal use copy free at www.grisoft.com. All anti-virus software will let some through, just be sure to check for updates once or twice a week. Michael

    I am guessing this started happening after IE was upgraded to version 6? If so I would suggest rolling IE back to previous version and see if the problem goes away. A lot of problems have been noted on IE 6.
