Explorer conundrum - files in limbo
Id been playing around with NAPSTER downloading MP3 files until I got enough to need to rename and organize them (some had names artist-title.MP3, some title/artist.MP3). Slow Modem on Connection!
Just how far out in the boonies are you? POTS line signals degrade in direct proportion to the distance from a telco switch. I'm about a mile from the switch and get great line speeds, close to 56k. A friend is about 6 miles further away and on a good day he connects at 22k.<br> Check the...- grog

CAN'T FIND WINWORD.EXE
It's possible that your have set one of the 'HIDE FILES OF KNOWN TYPES' options.<br> In Explorer click VIEW -> FOLDER OPTIONS<br> Click the VIEW tab and under HIDDEN FILES check 'SHOW ALL FILES'<br> Uncheck any HIDE FILES options. I can't imagine why anyone would use this option. It's the...- grog
