Did you try the FIND? Or try START, RUN, &quot;winword.exe&quot;<br>
if that comes up a no show then maybe Eclipse is right, you need more information. Hope that helps.

I looks like the Office suite has lost registry keys. Try reinstalling Office.<br>

I wouldn't try a manual edit of the registry, at this point, 'though.

It's possible that your have set one of the 'HIDE FILES OF KNOWN TYPES' options.<br>
In Explorer click VIEW -&gt; FOLDER OPTIONS<br>
Click the VIEW tab and under HIDDEN FILES check 'SHOW ALL FILES'<br>
Uncheck any HIDE FILES options. I can't imagine why anyone would use this option. It's the only option more rediculous that VEIW AS WEB PAGE.
