We have an Ipoffice Rel 8 with Voicemail Pro.
When users try to conference people together it appears to connect everyone together but no one can hear each other. This happens with both a manual conference and a meet me conference.
When watching System status it shows them connected to...
System Status for Active Calls shows them connected to "Conf 55510" When I drill down on the call details to Conference Details it shows all of the calls connected to the same Bridge.
When I go to Resources it shows conference ports in use.
Here are printouts from System Status...
I have several IP office systems. In each of our systems we setup a meet me conference. Now we have a new system that is an R8 with the Preferred license and it does not seem to work when setup like a system on R6 or R7. When two people dial into the the bridge they are both show to be connected...
Is there a way turn off the feature that allows VMPro to retrieve an externally transferred call that surpasses the No Answer ime?
I have a user that forwards her desk phone to her cell. She wants the cell phone voice mail to answer instead the system VM. So far the only idea I have had is to...
Thank you for the tips. This worked.
I was even able to steamline it a bit by creating a Generic Command that all it did was have a command to Set the Forward number. That way they cannot accidentally press the wrong button in the menu.
I am trying to set up something so the users can remotely change the number of a call forward. The user has one number they want customers dialling that is transferred to the on call person. They want to be able to change the on call person themselves.
I set up a VMPro module with has a Menu...
Thank you that worked. At least it removed the deny. Unfortunately I still cant dial the number. Must not be set up somewhere else.
We are trying to cal area code 809 which is the Dominican republic.
What is the command to remove an area code that is under DENY in an SPN on LD 90. I need to allow a user to call a country code that is currently blocked.
You can download the Administrative files from this website.

The Administrative software is on the right side of the page. Beware it is a very large download.
This site also has lots of other great information on the IP Office.
Is it possible to restrict people so they can transfer a number externally but limit where they can transfer?
For example only allow transfer to local numbers or certain area code?
I know we can allow or disallow transferring external but I do not know if it is possible it can be restricted...
Thanks I found them. The vendor we normally buy these from did not have them but another vendor we have terms with does. SO I guess they get the business.
We need to get some new tapes for our Meridian mail backup drive. The book says the drive supports up to 2.5 GB tapes. However I cannot find anything smaller then 4GB tapes. Most are in the 30 to 60 GB range.
Has anyone been able to use tapes larger then 2.5 GB. If so what sizes have you used?
I am having serious forget fullness. Can anyone remind me how to setup dial by name on a BCM 50 Call Pilot voicemail. I looked but it is not jumping out at me.
I am in the same boat as you. I have an Option 61 on rel4.5. To upgrade would require new processors, plus replacing MErail for call pilot and Symposium express for CC. The price for that is not much less then a new system.
So far I am early in the process. We are taking bids from Avaya, NEC...
