So if it was working fine a week ago, chances are the carrier may have turned something off? I don't think the Nortel system would stop using it if we didn't change anything? Our provider seemed perplexed I was even asking this question of him. My guess is if this has been working fine up...

The calls that are not reporting the CallerID are when people call in on the 800 number. The 800 number points to a local number. If I call that local number directly, Meridian Mail will say "one new message from phone number etc etc etc. If I call the 800 number she reports one...
Let me clarify- If a call is made to a DID and user listens to the message, it will say call from and report the number.

Right now it is set to dial extensions which works fines. If I change one of the extensions to my cell phone number it says the call cannot be completed at this time. I am putting a 9 first.

I asked my old tech about the System Monitor card and he is adamant that I more than likely got a bum RG replacement card. He said he has never seen a RG card have any issue than other the card itself and just replacing it fixed the issue...not the power supply or the system monitor card...

Thru trial and error I am thinking the ring generator on our Option 61C has given up the ghost. It seems none of the analog lines on that shelf are ringing (fax machines in this case) This is for DC. The tower has the red light on in the upper left corner.
