Why can't I use GEDI in a S8700 Remote Dial Up scenario once I establish the dial up network connection? It would seem that the only connection I can establish with ASA is a shell connection.

Heather, when you do go to S8700 do not allow them to sell you on the idea of the Perle IO LAN (terminal server - IP to serial). It doesn't work! The issue went back and forth between Tier III and IV and the IO LAN kept "falling asleep".

Does anyone see an issue with running the PBX CMS data across a point to point T-1 on the 24 ch (64K). Of course the T-1 would be dropped and inserted via an Adtran TSU120 w/ Router option module to isolate the 24 ch off of the T-1.

To my knowledge, there is no way of making the queued call more visible/audible to a direct agent that is in AUX.
Let us not for get the purpose of AUX
You could always assign a q-calls button to the agents phone. At least the agent would know that there's a call waiting in queue.
