Hi,
Thanks for all the suggestions. The reason I was asking the question was, we are implementing a fall over solution(Neverfail), which would work well if we controlled the DNS entries directly for our URL, but we don't.
Thanks,
Paul
Hi,
Hope this isn't too much of a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyway. The reason for asking is too long and involved to go into here, so I won't...;)
I have created a small VB app that checks to see if URL1 is up and valid, if not it directs users to URL2. This works well, but just...
Hi,
I have recently setup SQL Server 2000 using Server 2003 Clustering services. The two node servers have dual processors. I have setup the clustering service in an Active/Passive configuration, with the SQL service assigned to one of the groups, so if node1 fails the SQL duties are passed to...
Sounds like the same problem, he also has an un-filtered SKY connection in a different socket. I'll try the microfilters, fingers crossed that should fix the problem!
They are simply trying to fleece you out of more money! I've had a similar thing happen to me while round at someone elses house, I just laughed at them down the phone.
They tried to sell/force my friend to buy an 'upgraded' USB ADSL modem to connect to their 24.99 package, as opposed to the...
...I was asked to have a look at a friends ADSL connection last night. He had been complaining of slow access times and timeouts. I could see, from the modem utility software, that the line was continuously generating errors. On seeing this I phoned the provider to request a line test, at the...

I am looking for an alert to let me know when my DB gets to a certain % remaining. I know the alert 9002 alerts you to DB logs getting to a certain %, is there a similar alert for a database.
The reason I am asking this is due to a problem, I'm yet to trace, with the database not expanding...
...a table with a couple of hundred records in it.
I only want to return records 1, 3, 7, 10, 14, 20, 89 etc etc....
I would assume(wrongly) that the syntax would be the following -
select * from table where field = 1, 3, 7, 10.......etc
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks...
Too many variables at play here to give a definitive answer. 256MB on the card you mentioned is completely pointless, tie that into, most likely a 2X AGP port on your motherboard, the slow processor and slow fsb.....
Also what res, detail etc are you playing the game at?
