Is that interface set to respond to ping? I know I've seen it on the main interface options before, but cant remember if its on the MIP options. My SSG is in a box from moving, otherwise I'd take a look.
If your public MIP IP isn't in the same subnet as your untrust interface ip, you might...
From what I recall, the summit48 runs extremeware, not extreme xos. There is not a web interface for any of the advanced functions. Your best bet is with that USB to serial adapter you linked; but really, it should serve your needs out of the box, or if it is from ebay... after it has been...
thanks, J4M. I couldn't find a starting point in my googling but these both seem really good information. I'm going to be back there later this week and give the sbs blog resolution a try.
We have a sbs2008 server installed and about 20 clients connect via outlook anywhere (rpc over https). Every now and then the connection between the client and server will be very slow - it will take 15-20 minutes to send receive 10-15 100K messages - but when logging in to OWA there is no...
Is the ISP blocking port 25 from wherever they are? Telnet to your mailserver port 25 (c:\telnet mailserver.domain.tld 25) and see if you get a response.
or have them use OWA.
I just had this same problem with 2 ssg20s connected via a point to point t1.
since it took me most of the day to figure it out, I figured I'd share since the avaya and juniper documentation is sparse.
the bgroup0 interface needs to be in route mode. nat mode will not allow the ip office scn...
I haven't been able to get my blackberry users working with exchange 2007 with BIS or the limited BES. (EAS phones work fine, godaddy cert, etc..) The astrasync program may be the answer to my problems, thanks for suggesting that, mofusjtf.
maybe this one would be a better read: http://marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase/ipoffice/mergedProjects/bulletins/techtips/global_techtip_205.pdf
when I did it previously I just pulled the settings for 46xxsettings and changing the phone mode out of that first document I linked and just...
Have you read this document and loaded the VPN firmware onto the phone?

SBS 2008 has a default admin account of "admin" not "administrator," - administrator is disabled out of the box.
If it isn't admin, does the account have permission to log on to the server?
Do you have any objects inside your new OU that the login script can apply to?
Since this is SBS, why not just leave your users in the SBSusers OU and apply the policy there?
Are the clients able to access the script via the network, eg: \\domain.local\netlogon\loginscript.vbs?
Judging by your post history, it's an avaya ipo voicemail pro server.
Have you set it up according to the install guide?
http://marketingtools.avaya.com/knowledgebase/ipoffice/mergedProjects/voicemailpro
in my opinion, making the voicemail server a domain member and using MAPI (real outlook)...
I had a similar process I wanted to do. In my case, I wanted to disable direct OWA access and make everybody use our juniper ssl-vpn box to check OWA while maintaining Exchange ActiveSync for cellphone e-mail.
This was all done on server 2003 and exchange 2007.
My exchange server has 2...
well, i ended up trying to re-apply sp2 which resulted in a reboot loop, hanging on acpitabl.sys
a sbs 2003 repair install fixed that then applied sp2 and everything is peachy now.
I have a sbs2003 server that is having trouble updating to SP2. it was showing the problem with too many updates installed (addressed here: http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive/2007/06/22/sp2-may-fail-to-install-if-a-large-number-of-updates-are-installed.aspx )
Before I could run that fix, the...
