Dear Greater I.T. Intellect,
I've got a WinXPproSP2, Off2k3ProSP2 client that is having some 'tasks' issues in outlook 2003.
The setup is as follows:
There is a public folder on our network entitled "Work Requests".
The folder contains a .oft task file, that is preassigned. Users open up...
Dear Greater Cisco Intellect,
Thank you for your replies. The three way handshake is clear now. The syn=0 ack=1 (third part of the handshake) was throwin' me off. I thought syn=0 meant that the 2 hosts are not longer synch'd.
Thanks again. I'm plannin' on taking the ccna (intro) exam by...
Dear Greater Cisco Intellect,
Using the Cisco Press CCNA (Intro) text, I ran across the following question:
Select the statement that correctly orders the steps to establish a TCP connection.
Answer: syn=1, syn=1 ack=1, syn=0 ack=1
I need some help deciphering the syn/ack fields here.
I...

Seems like the 0xc2 stop error is all over the internet. Forums suggest running the ms debug tool for analysis. My...

Dear Greater Cisco Intellect,
Thank you to everyone that responded to my previous inquiry "Are my cisco books too old?".
So I'm going to get something from the cisco press. They seem to offer 2 sets of materials for the CCNA exam: http://www.ciscopress.com/markets/detail.asp?st=44711&redir=1...
Hello Nyy,
Thank you for your response. I just got to the static, default, dynamic routing chapter. I am eager to try your suggestion:
ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 e0/0
to see how a static route works in action. Good stuff...have you already taken you CCNA exam?
Much Obliged,
Mike Godinez...

Hello Andy,
Thanks for the reply.
I had my IP address(s) set incorrectly (I think).
I changed the IP address for the 2503 router to 172.16.30.2. I was then able to ping the 2511's IP, 172.16.30.1.
Upon executing the show cdp neighbors command on the 2511, I got:
2511#show cdp neighbors...

Dear Greater I.T. Intellect,
We have an outlook 2k3 (SP1) client here running on Winxppro (latest and greatest service pack).
When forwarding messages from said client, all formatting in the original message are lost (i.e. font types and sizes used are reset).
The client is set up to use MS...

Thank you so much for the input. Resolution was achieved by changing the internet security zone in I.E. (from restricted to internet)
Much obliged for the input, and solution.

DreamBoat,
Thanks for the reply.
Doing the 'behind the scenes' key combo, shows only hyperlinks in the doc.
The search for resolution continues. Thanks for the tip, dreamboat...I'm sure it'll come in handy in the near future.

Dear Greater I.T. Intellect,

Hello,
Though the 'click yes' solution will work...I am wary of using this utility as well. It would be unfortunate to auto click yes...on a malicious program or other malware.
I would tweak the sync settings on your pocket pc app. Perhaps you should only sync upon dock, as opposed to...
