Outlk 2k3: Formatting changes when forwarding messages

Dear Greater I.T. Intellect,

We have an outlook 2k3 (SP1) client here running on Winxppro (latest and greatest service pack).

When forwarding messages from said client, all formatting in the original message are lost (i.e. font types and sizes used are reset).

The client is set up to use MS Word as the default editor, compose messages in html.

Any suggestions...what simple checkbox button am I missing?

It is possible that using Word as your editor may be the downfall of your formatting. Word has a tendency to "fix" what it thinks is wrong, and many times it was exactly the way you wanted it to begin with. Try using Outlook to edit and see if that helps.

Yes you are correct!!! Unchecking "Use ms word to edit email messages" resolved this conflict.
