ok so i'm still having problems. my redirection by time of day works fine. i still can't get the redirection by day to work.
i have my days set as followed:
DAY0
DAY1 2 3 4 5 6
DAY2
DAY3 2
I really want to use the DAY1 (so i get calles redirected m-f only) option but for testing...

i knew if wasn't the fiber itself because if i swap them the fiber converters no longer have an active link. I figured out the issue was on of the dip switches in the fiber converter need to be changed so that it was set for auto negotiation.

well thats the problem, we tried creating an a record and a cname record pointing to the ip addresses the hosting company provided, but it hasn't work so wasn't sure what we are doing wrong.
we have a new subdomain website - blogs.domain.com. this subdomain is being hosted externally. we had to request that the company that manages our dns records add ns records for this new subdomain that would point to the site that is hosting our new subdomain. so our new subdomain works...

Is there a way to restrict users from being able to use other dns servers other then the one the receive thru dhcp via an asa5505? I'm using a dns filter website and want to force people to use these dns servers. There isn't any domain controllers on this network so i can't restrict changes...
