Hey - thanks for that! I have had a bit of a play and put that into a DTS package - made some minor changes to the connection strings/T-SQL Selects, so that everything "looks" right....but when I parse the script it says:
Microsoft VBScript Compilation error
Expected end of statement
I have...
Thanks hmckillop - I have posted something there, and will await and see if anyone can offer some feedback....
Fingers crossed - will post a response either way...
Thanks again for your help.
Hi All,
I have posted this in the SQL threads and they suggested to post here on the off chance someone could offer some code which would do this a gem
Basically I am wanting to extract the results of 2 seperate queries (which could be either a SP or a direct T-SQL string) into one txt file...
Hmm thanks for the response - as I feared what you have said...but alas programming is not a skill I have....I may have to get someone in for this one...
Thanks again for your response!
Hi,
hopefully someone can offer some sense on this - I am wanting to extract the results of 2 seperate queries into one txt file.
However the results in the txt file need to retain their specific field lengths.
The file is essentially a buildup of an order file which has line 1 = header...
yeah I know - was interested just to get it up and running...funnily enough I had it up and running at another site, without any 'configuration' as such...so was surprised when I got this message...
This is the code here - and I can't see anywhere which looks as though I should be specifically...
Hi All,
Now this is probably a real straight forward issue...
What I am trying to get the thin web client running without a hell of a lot of success to be honest...but then again I have no experience in html or jscript etc.
So anyhow hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on this...
yeah thanks Jeff for the response, I have spoken to a few others also, and get a feeling that asp.net, c# and visual studio.net is the direction that I should be heading...
Just seems a very daunting task moving from DBA type role, into learning c# etc *gulp*....
If anyone else has some good...
Hi,
We are starting to have some need to use web services and have integration of our data to a front end which customers can use over the web.
So seeing as I have no skill base to call upon for this, I am after your worldly advice, on what skills/languages I really need to start to become...
Hi there,
I am trying to resolve an issue where it appears as though vba6.msi has been installed from a terminal server session instead of the console. As a result it has some strange mapped paths for common files etc.
In any light, I can uninstall it fine. However when I go to reinstall it...
delete them? Sorry for my ignorace, but how do I do this?
As I mentioned before, the image was made up of a couple of rectangles and some fonts. But I have traced these fonts, so that now the image is simply comprised of blocks of colour (all solid). If I delete these there will be nothing...
Thanks everyone for your responses, however I have been on leave so havn't had a changce to respond sooner.
Anyhow, I know this type of thing can be made smaller, so am on the war path for any possibility that might make it smaller.
In this light, how to I turn off the graphic styles, symbols...
Hi,
I have a real basic image which is made up of 6 letters and 2 shapes.
The size = 30mm w x 13mm h
The colour is black with no shading etc. Real plain.
I need to save this as an EPS file, however when I save it the file size is 608kb!!!
I am a newbie to this, and after looking at a file...
Can anyone confirm that this is more than likely a compilation issue that needs to be resolved by the developer - as they are claiming that this is not the case...
Just need some ammo and substance...
Thanks for any assistance on this one...
Cheers
Troy

Thanks for the help!
Cheers
