Yes Word is only a word processor but unfortunately all the big banks and legal companies use Word for their financial print, when Quark would be far better especially when trying to set tables. I am only trying to copy a style sent in by a legal company.
I have a four column table in Word that requires a 1pt rule under each heading in all four columns. Each column is 20mm wide but the 1pt rule needs to be indented 2mm either side making a 16mm rule. Can this be done using borders?

An application called PopChar is useful when looking for accents and characters in a particular font.!
Try copying Word text with autonumbering, open new document and use Paste Special making sure 'Styled Text' is selected. Save this file. Open quark file making sure correct style sheet is selected, Get Text making sure 'Include Style Sheets' is NOT selected.
Not sure about PCs but as a mac typesetter of financial documents we use the Linotype EuroFont. This way the Euro sign matches the figure it relates to ie if you are working in Gill Sans the euro sign will be in Gill Sans.
