Thanks, Skip, for feedback. With some modification, I was hoping to be able to have values in currently in columns E thru I in separate columns after the post-normalization in order to pivot off of them.
I've used a lot the Excel feature that allows conversion of a summary table to data table using the Pivot Wizard.
Often times, the newly-created data table is subsequently used in a pivot table. This method has worked well when the 'values' created are the same format (i.e. number OR percent...
I'm hoping there's an easy option for using a map graph in Excel that would allow me to plot volume by state (or country).
Currently, I see 'Bing Map' already built in, but it's not giving me the desired results. It's plotting which states have volume; however, I've been trying to figure out...
...see who is on their company distribution list (but not other firm's info).
The reason for wanting to send same invite to each firm individually:
* If I need to make changes to the meeting invite message, it's usually for some, not all, firms.
* For some reason, have received complaints...
Hello. Please see attached document (a picture is worth a thousand words).
I've inherited a dashboard that contains a multitude of charts with data labels. The charts are primarily, not exclusively, stacked or single bar. The labels have been added manually and I'm looking for a much more...
Yep, I did, Skip. My bad.

Hi, Skip,

Hello, Is there an automated solution (without macros/VBA) for merging multiple Excel worksheets containing different number of columns and rows into one master? The worksheets are all located into one workbook.
Thank you in advance for feedback.
When sending out a meeting invitation, there's 3 options for accepting:
1. Edit response before sending
2. Send response now
3. Do not send a response
I've learned that when the recipient uses option #3 to respond, they are listed under the Outlook's Tracking section as 'Response' = 'None'. In...
Skip,
See attached file. Mailings occur monthly and date range of returns for each mailing can 'overlap'. Let me know if you have other questions.

An addendum. The raw data actually contains the 'Week' field (added below).
After I export the data, I then manually enter information into the 'Week#' field. Is there a formula that would automatically populate 'Week#' field?

Hi, Skip,
Thank you for reminding me the value of using a structured table.
FYI ... Initially, I was not able to get the formulas to work. However, I removed one of the double brackets and ... VOILA! Expected results appeared. [thumbsup]
Given this solution, I now need to go and read up...
Please example below taken from part of a pivot table (exception: not included in pivot is column labeled as ‘Returns4’).

Dear Skip,
You are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
Conceptually, I get what you've done and believe you've made my process much more efficient, thereby saving me time in the future.
I'm currently in the throes of finishing a report for principals who are going out of the country for a month in early Jan...

Attached is a file containing 4 separate data tables with corresponding combo charts off to the right. For every state reported, there are 4 views (i.e. charts) that need to be created. Also, once the charts are created, I usually take snapshots (i.e. copy/paste picture) to use in...
Skip,
The chart is simply a aggregate summary (i.e. 6 months) of results.
I agree with you that the min-max range across fields are are too great. And, have decided to omit the Qty_Sent field from the chart.
Thanks for your help! Let me know if you have any light to shed on my 2nd post.
