I have not found a way to target an override using a group. When I look to override using a group, all I get is the groups from sealed management packs.
My new custom group does not work.
Anyone know how to do this?

Actually I do this now with a Management pack.
Read the documentation closely, it can be tricky to get working but works well once you have.

I am trying to create a disaster recovery plan for my Callmanager 4.1 implementation.
I have looked at the various documentation sets online at Cisco and have come to the conclusion that they never really planned for a disaster.
But even a complete failed system isn't planned for all that...
Check out arclog to breakdown the log file, because there is not much you can do, i had 35 servers under backup exec and i could do because media rotation is based upon overwrite/append times. arcserve does it differently, so i have to use 2 jobs to run 2 drives in a library. They have no good...

Configuration:

Problem:
Provide a means to determine what jobs have run:
Method:
Configured (USING SQL) a trigger on the...
I have an unusual question. I want to run a program/script after the execution of job. I would like to know how i can find out information about the job during the post execution. IE Tape, Job Type. Anyone written any utilities or anything that i can use to determine what log i am using or...
If it is requiring an executable, try this.
c:\winnt\system32\cmd.exe /c C:\winnt\foo.bat (or whatever)
And see if that helps.
Anyone know if there are any command line parameters that can be passed to a post execution job?
I have noticed that if i use a rotation job. then it will properly do the logs based upon inc/diff terms. And during a full backup it will go ahead and purge.
I would like to know if anyone has a datamap for the SQL database for arcserve. Not VLDB (sp?). I have Access connecting to the tables and i can make rudimentary sense of the tables and how things go together but i would like to create a simple way for help desk staff to look up files a user...
