Hi quertyjj... thanks for the reply. I've done quite alot of research on this and come to the conclusion that there are alot of different configurations when setting up a WSS extranet... depending on whether you are running an SBS domain, generic Win 2003 domain, authentication protocols etc...
We have a SBS 2003 domain as the basis of our corporate network. We want to utilize SharePoint to communicate and centralize the sharing of company information for employees within the company and to create sites for external access to share info with clients, suppliers etc. I have been...
Unfortunately I don't think I have enough time now to explore the mesh route for this event, however definately going to look into. Think I am gonna go with restriction to b protocol and try and limit to three channels. Hopefully they have over estimated attendance / concurrent connections...
Hi All,
I am going to setup a Wifi network in a venue. Currently the venue has 6 seperate 2mb ADSL lines (each with static public IP) coming into the building each connected to a Zyxel P66OHW-61device. I am not familiar with Zyxel devices so excuse my ignorance.
I have a router with 6 WAN...
Vipergg,
"Everyone running a B adaptor will bring everyone down to "B" speeds"....
I was under the impression that people could connect to the same AP at different speeds depending on their adaptors and the capabilities of the AP?
Hi,
I am in the process of building a small application that uses MS Access as the back end. One of my pages is a "search" page which has a few server cotrols that allows the user to enter data to search the DB.
At he moment the data is accessed via the 'SqlDataSource' control and displayed...

Needs to be a seemless roaming experience for the user
What immediately concerns me about this is the very real potential for wifi congestion...

Hi Beowulf005,
We will be running SBS2003 on our local box, however we wnat the Sharepoint services to run on our remote servers that currently run Win 2003 Web Edition. The reason for this is bandwith. Our office connection is v slow, the connection to the remote servers is much faster.

Hi All,

Now I...
