Hi!
I saw a videotutorial on the internet, and I saw something interesting in it.
In the media bin in premiere pro, there was a picture icon to every videoclip in the bin, instead of that standar video/sound icon.

you can use the Trackmatte key in Premiere.
Make a white box, or what ever shape you want in a document in photoshop og Adobe Titler (The video will be visible throug this white box).....then import that into Premiere.

But you can also connect your dvd player to your videocamera (if you have one, and that the camera got a AV input) and then get the picture form the dvd, through the camera and into the computer with Firewire cable.

you can not capture video directly from the dvd into Premiere. You have to use a software to convert the dvd into a videofile that Premiere supports. And then import that video into Premiere.

and you can format your FAT32 harddrive into NTFS...
