I had a similar experience a week ago when I accidentally held down SHIFT whilst deleting some files, not realising that some folders were also selected but out of sight of the File Manager window. I realised almost immediately what I had done the moment I scrolled upwards in the File Manager...
I've used Screenshot Captor for many, many years now and have been completely satisfied with it, so much so that I donated to it for its continued development. YMMV.
I mean that what is does (deaden vibration) is more important than what it's made of. It's just a cheap and inert foam. It could have been folded felt... but these days the cost of folded felt is greater.
Use something other than the flakey Snipping Tool for greater reliability, something that has commandline parameters for what is captured, i.e. 'No Taskbar'.
It's quite safe and won't damage the cable at all.
The sponge's only purpose is to deaden any vibration which, over a long period of time, might possibly reduce the HDD's lifespan.
Your original thread was titled 'Neighbor Hack'. In this thread (titled 'Loss of Privacy') I wrote "If no-one has physical access to your devices then your WiFi should be secure IF you change the password for WiFi access on your router."
Now you write that a neighbor not only has/had access to...
I have no idea what this means.
Q10. How exactly did you notice these two changes?
(Note: You still haven't answered my Q9 about your Sonos woofer from a previous post.)
The WiFi network name (SSID) on your Xfinity router cannot be changed except by someone with access to your router's web...

1. You opened the Sonos app on your iPhone. It searched for Sonos devices but couldn't find any.
Your Sonos soundbar wouldn't show in the app unless a) it was powered on...
Thank you for your answers... your setup is becoming clearer now.
The wire between your router and the LG TV's cable box is almost definitely an ethernet network cable. I'm still not clear how the Sony's cable box is connected to your network.
When you changed the personal Xfinity WiFi...
Sorry, I though it was MacBook Air. It helps if you are specific.
More questions, I'm afraid, whilst trying to build up an accurate picture of your circumstances.
Q5. How are your WiFi-connected devices still connecting to your personal Xfinity WiFi if you have changed the personal Xfinity...
See Neighbor Hack (September 15th) for original thread. None of my questions were answered in the original thread nor does this subsequent thread add any factual info about what changes, if any, OP has made since then with her Xfinity service nor if she has contacted Xfinity support (or anyone...
It probably IS a cell phone and he's just using the Xfinity WiFi Home Hotspot capability.
Not relevant ... but how do you know?
Xfinity customers are allowed to. If you want to stop it, turn off the Xfinity WiFi Home Hotspot. See this Xfinity doc:
How To Turn Xfinity WiFi Home Hotspot On or...
You wrote "I am running 23H2 build 22631.4169."

See this Microsoft Lifecyle doc for Windows 11 Home and Pro: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-11-home-and-pro
You have nothing...
Your previous Windows 10 installation would have activated itself with a digital license stored on Microsoft's activation servers. This digital license is also valid for Windows 11. You just need to download/create a bootable Windows installer USB using...
Hmmm... this just happened with the last couple of email notifications when I clicked on the View this thread button:
Email tracking is SO not cool, IMO...
