In our test lab - the phones have had all their admin pwds changed. Prior IT mgr has left the business...
We just need to know the quickest method to reset the admin pwd...

My lab tech starts the CP Wizard ... moves along and adds the (2) patches to the D:/TEMP folder ...

Yes - and even turned off DHCP so it wouldn't auto search and try to connect to the ACO servers ...

What is the easiest method to remove the ACO-Ring Central from a J179?
It is a full IPO/CM model - not 3PCC

B - SD card is created with R11.1.1 SW load
C - License is valid and has all the licenses required for this test lab system - IP Endpoints ad SIP licenses etc.

Westi - problem is a known issue on the R11.1.3 if trying to access thru manager instead of webmanager
Accessed from webmanager and was able to change all the required passwords

If you have even an old copy of the con fig.cfg file or whatever ese you could have named the "master" operating cfg file ....
Put the cfg file on your desktop .... got to OFFLINE under FILE menu - OPEN FILE>
Pick that CFG file from your desktop ... and if it opens ... yo can find what you need :)
Avaya seems to have messed this up royally or we aren't very smart :)
Login to new CU w/ 11.1.3 SW - config and default Administrator PWD is accepted ... brings up the new "change password" screen for Admin - Security Admin & System

We finally were able to get the change made to the hosts file and saved.
Now we get an error "Retrieving Host certificate info failed" - see screenshot file - "Error3.jpg"
